Volunteer Management

Airtable template for building a portal to organize volunteers including their skills, references, contact information, and any other custom fields you want to track.

Volunteer Management

Introduction

Efficiently organize your volunteers with our Volunteer Management Template. This guide will walk you through the features, benefits, and steps to use this template effectively.

Key Features

  • Track Volunteer Information: Organize volunteers by their skills, references, and contact details. Add any custom fields you need to manage your volunteers efficiently.
  • Link to Events: Connect volunteers to the events they’re scheduled for, ensuring you have a clear view of who is available and when.
  • Custom Views: Create custom views to filter and display the information you need. For example, view volunteers with specific skills like first aid.

How to Use

  • Use filters to see just the records you want to see. Create views to save custom sets of filters. For example, the Volunteers with First Aid Skills view in the Volunteers table just shows the records of the volunteers who have first aid skills.
  • Hiding fields can be a great way to make views that show just the information you need for a particular task. Check out the Just Contact Info view to see an example of how hidden fields can let you focus in on what's important.
  • The names of the records in the Volunteering Events table are automatically generated by setting the primary field as a formula that concatenates the date and program type.
